About our Undercarpet heating bed set.
Description: The heating mats go on either side of the bed and therefore will make a u-shape around the bed.
Do’s and don’ts: Do not put under carpet heating under any flat-based furniture as putting the heating under flat-based furniture could block the heat and discolour your carpet.
What about smaller rooms or children’s rooms? Children’s rooms and small rooms, with one or two single beds, can use one side of the L-S heater and therefore only one side of the unit needs to be purchased.
Undercarpet heating bed set. How does the installation work?
Under carpet, heating is put on top of the underfelt and therefore sits directly beneath the carpet. under the carpet, heating mats can be put under a stretch carpet (wall to wall) or under any loose laid rug. To clarify you must use a minimum of 1000gram under felt with under carpet heating.
What carpeting should be avoided? Rubber-backed carpets and hemp/natural fibre carpets.

What is under carpet heating made from? Under carpet, heating is made from Teflon-coated heating elements that are placed in an industrial-strength aluminium foil.
Can the units catch fire? The units won’t catch fire as they have a built-in earthing block. Thus if there is any problem with the heating, it will trip the power at the D.B board and prevent any possible fire danger. Hence they are incredibly safe to use.
