Air Sensor Heating Thermostat C70 is neat and extremely reliable.
What is the difference between an Air sensor heating thermostat C70 and a probe sensor thermostat?:
Air sensor heating thermostat C70 reads the ambient temperature of the area that it is installed in. Thus, it will turn on and off depending on the actual temperature of the air it is exposed to. Whereas a probe thermostat reads the surface temperature of the flooring it is connected to.
This thermostat is able to carry a maximum load of 3KW of heating power. Thus, if you have more than 3KW of heating in the area, you will need to install a relay with the thermostat.
How/Where is the thermostat installed?:
This thermostat is designed to be installed in a 2×4 or 4×4 box with direct lines from your DB board. Thus, you will need to chase into the walling if it is a new installation. This can also be used to replace an old/existing thermostat in your home.
